Liability Insurance
Most states require a minimum amount of liability coverage. It covers bodily injury and property damage to others if you are at fault in an accident. It does not cover damage to your own vehicle.
Collision Coverage
Collision coverage pays for damage to your vehicle resulting from a collision with another vehicle or object, regardless of who is at fault. Subject to a deductible.
Comprehensive Coverage
Protects against damage to your car caused by non-collision events such as theft, vandalism, fire, natural disasters, or hitting an animal.
Personal Injury Protection (PIP)
Also known as no-fault insurance, PIP covers medical expenses and sometimes lost wages for you and your passengers, regardless of who caused the accident.
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist
Protects you if you're hit by a driver who doesn't have insurance or doesn't have enough insurance to cover the damages they caused.
Roadside Assistance
Optional coverage that provides help if your car breaks down, needs a jump start, gets a flat tire, or requires a tow.
